General terms of sale

The general terms of sale outlined below (hereafter known as "general conditions"), govern the contractual relationship between any user of the www.rrorafi.com website and the company RR Orafi in Sassari S.n.c., whose head office is situated at Vicolo San Leonardo, 1/B – 07100 Sassari (Italy) and registered on the Camera di Commercio di Sassari with VAT r.n. 01942720903 (hereafter known as "RR Orafi in Sassari").
These general conditions shall be the only ones applicable and replace all other conditions, except in the case of express written consent. RR Orafi in Sassari may be occasionally obliged to modify certain provisions of its general conditions. It is therefore necessary to re-read the said conditions before each purchase on the www.rrorafi.com site.

We consider that in submitting your order, you have read and accepted our general conditions of sale without reserve.
Any order by the customer implies a tacit acceptance of the present general conditions of sale and without reserve.
Any clause accompanying a customer's order or any other document that is in opposition to, or which adds a new element to the present general conditions, will not be accepted by RR Orafi in Sassari.

The catalogue has been organized according to the different categories of items.
You can reach the items through the internal search engine and generally through category or products links present on the www.rrorafi.com website.

Once identified the item you wish to buy, it is possible to add it to the basket specifying the quantity needed.
It is possible to change the quantities in the basket, remove items, proceed to the filling of the order form pressing the button Check out or continue the shopping.

RR Orafi in Sassari updates often its catalogue and the products present on the www.rrorafi.com website are usually available for delivery.
RR Orafi in Sassari does not request a minimum quantity or a minimum amount to spend and it is not necessary to be registered to place an order.

All the prices are valid on online purchases only.

In the order form (please choose the one that best match the nature of your business) you need to fill in the buyer and the consignee's details with the items you intend to purchase.
A correct compilation of the fields will allow a prompt reply and a faster order shipping.

It is possible to cancel the orders still not yet dispatched keeping in touch with the Customer service in good time.

If you have payed by credit card, we will request to our bank the immediate cancellation of the transaction and the refund of the amount paid.

The product prices on www.rrorafi.com are VAT included.
The prices are shown in Euro (EUR), United Kingdom Pound Sterling (GBP) and United States Dollars (USD).
The currency can be selected at any time from the Currency option in the main menu.

RR Orafi in Sassari will apply the VAT rates in accordance with the Italian regulation D.P.R: 633/72
with some exceptions concerning the sales within the European Union or outbound.
The VAT amount, if due, will be calculated at the order's request.

Fiscal documentation for companies and professional customers

The goods always travel accompanied by an order's summary.
RR Orafi in Sassari will deliver a copy of the invoice via e-mail in pdf format once the order has been dispatched.
Customers based in Italy must consider this document as a pro-forma invoice, the valid fiscal document (electronic invoice) will be made available once it has been approved by the Italian Tax Agency. Customers may retrieve the fiscal invoice directly from their certified telematic address or from their restricted area of the Tax Agency platform. Italian customers are therefore kindly invited to fill in the specific form with the necessary information (PEC address and/or SDI Destination Code).

Fiscal documentation for private customers (consumers)

The goods always travel accompanied by an order's summary.
Pursuant to article 2, subsection 1 Italian D.P.R. 696/96 (dismissal of the obligation to issue a fiscal document by mail), RR Orafi in Sassari will issue an invoice only if requested by the customer.
This request can be made at the moment of the order's placement.
Invoice will be send via e-mail in Adobe Acrobat PDF format when the order is dispatched.

RR Orafi in Sassari delivers all over the world by the international courier Poste Italiane.

The delivery expenses are calculated when the order is being made and it is contextual to the amount of the purchased goods.
The times of delivery, following the order's dispatch, are of 24-48 hours in Italy and from 10 to 20 days in Europe and all over the world.

We recommend to always check the number and the integrity of the parcels.
In case of anomalies or damages, the complaint has to be done immediately to the courier.
In both cases, please contact us immediately.
RR Orafi in Sassari declines any responsability regarding a damaged parcel accepted and not verified in front of the courier.
Please note, conditions such as "acceptance conditional upon verification" or "acceptance conditional upon opening of wrapping" have no legal value with insurers or with transporters.

RR Orafi in Sassari will strive to respect the standard delivery times, but cannot be held liable for interest and damages because of late delivery.
An order made for articles not in stock may be the object of a longer period of delay or a cancellation.

RR Orafi in Sassari guarantees that the products delivered shall be identical to those shown on this site.
RR Orafi in Sassari does not sell products that have already been used, are irregular, have been made using defective materials, contain defective workmanship or are qualitatively inferior to market standards. The basic characteristics of each product are shown on the relevant product profile. The images and colours of the products shown may not be identical to the real products due to the limitations of the web browser or monitor being used to view them. Some tissues may vary slightly due to their craftsmanship.

All RR Orafi in Sassari jewels are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code, which covers any defects in conformity of the purchased items, existing at the time of delivery and manifesting themselves within 24 months of delivery itself, pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 170 of November 4, 2021 No. 170, implementing EU Directive 2019/771.
Unless proven otherwise, any defect of conformity manifesting itself within one year from the time the jewelry was delivered shall be presumed to have already existed on that date, unless such assumption is inconsistent with the nature of the defect of conformity.

RR Orafi in Sassari's guarantee covers the jewel from eventual manufacturing defects or breakages attributable to its production, after a check by our technicians. In order to benefit from this guarantee, the customer must report the conformity defect with a communication indicating the defects and flaws detected.
Are excluded from the defects of conformity and, therefore, from the legal guarantee any defects or damage caused by accidental events or by the customer's responsibility for use of the products does not conform to its intended use, or effect of normal wear.

The customer may request, at its option, to repair the product or replace it, free of cost in both cases, unless the requested remedy is impossible or imposes disproportionate costs.
The Customer is entitled to a proportional reduction of the price or to the termination of the sale contract, according to what is provided for by art. 135 bis, paragraph 4, Consumer Code and, in particular, if: RR Orafi in Sassari has not carried out the repair or replacement within the terms and conditions provided for by the Consumer Code, or has refused to make the items conform; if the defect of conformity is so serious as to justify the immediate reduction of the price or the termination of the contract; if a defect of conformity is manifested despite the attempt to restore the conformity of the item; if RR Orafi in Sassari declares (or this is clear from the circumstances) that it will not proceed to restore the conformity of the item within a reasonable period or without inconvenience.
The consumer customer is not entitled to terminate the contract if the defect of conformity is only minor.

Any shipping costs for sending the jewels to our laboratory are charged to the customer and not refundable.

The guarantee of 24 months is recognized only to individuals consumers.

For retailers or persons who in any capacity purchase for resale to third parties, the duration of the warranty is 12 months.

Certification of authenticity

For each piece of jewellery purchased, RR Orafi in Sassari issues a certificate that guarantees the characteristics of the item (materials used and production techniques).
The certificate also confirms legitimate ownership.
All precious stones (diamonds, rubies, pearls, garnets, etc.) and metals (gold and silver) are supplied along with their certificates of authenticity.

Pursuant to art. 52 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code) the consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchasing contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which the customer acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the customer acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform RR Orafi in Sassari of his decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement sent by post or e-mail.
The customer may use the withdrawal form:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Exceptions to withdrawal

The right of withdrawal applies to consumers only - i.e. retailers and any other parties who purchase items in order to re-sell them to third parties are excluded.
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised on products made on request and/or clearly personalised.

Timing of return

The customer shall send back the goods or hand them over to RR Orafi in Sassari without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which he communicates its withdrawal from this contract.
The deadline is met if the customer send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. For all products we will bear the cost of returning the goods, provided that you follow the return process specified below otherwise you will have to bear the return costs.

Refund

If the customer withdraws from this contract, RR Orafi in Sassari shall reimburse to him all payments received, including the costs of delivery, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which he sent the withdrawal letter.
RR Orafi in Sassari may withhold reimbursement until it has received the goods back or the customer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Decrease in the value of the goods

The customer will be liable for any decrease in the value of the item(s) if the deterioration is caused by a use beyond the ordinary quality inspection and functional testing of the product.

RR Orafi in Sassari informs the buyer that has the capacity of consumer qualification in art. 3, paragraph 1, lett. a) of the Consumer Code (art. 52 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005), which was set up a European platform for online dispute resolution for consumer disputes (ODR platform SO-CALLED).
