Silver ring with red stone and enamels

925/1000 silver ring with a red stone set on a crown decorated with yellow and green enamels. The jewelry is handcrafted using the techniques of Sardinian filigree, lost-wax casting and cold enameling, finished and assembled by hand.

This model is inspired by an ancient ring produced in Sardinia since the 18th century. In ancient times, it was given as a gift on the occasion of engagement, a gift that over time became an ornamental, universal piece of jewelry due to its beauty and cheerfulness of color. The crown was adorned with bezels containing glass paste stones (colored glass), given the limited availability of precious stones on the island. To recreate the effect of the glass, we used colored enamels, naturally matching the color of the central stone. The entire ring is decorated with an elegant motif made of Sardinian filigree, taken from original 19th-century rings and updated to respond to everyday use. A jewel has been able to cross centuries and fashions with its timeless charm.
