This jewel reproduces an ancient Phoenician-Punic ring from the 4th century BC, discovered in the Tophet of the ancient Phoenician colony of Sulky. The original golden ring is preserved at the Archaeological Museum of present-day Sant’Antioco.
The ring is made of 925/1000 sterling silver, handcrafted using Sardinian filigree andthe lost wax casting technique, cold-enameled and assembled by hand.
